Travis and I are having a baby GIRL!

6.22.2009

It's official, Travis will be a daddy!

Somehow during the last couple months between working 60 hours a week and sleeping three hours a day, Travis and I got pregnant. Baby Martinez is due around 01/31/2010 to 02/02/2010-ish. I am currently 8 weeks, 2 days. First prenatal exam revealed the little sea monkey is healthy and has a good heartbeat.

Travis doesn't want me calling it the sea monkey :P... He calls it "the bean". We have a cat called Lillybean and we already call her "the bean". The pics of babies in the second month look more like sea monkeys anyway because they have tails!

It's been awhile...

So, I've been working mandatory overtime for three months and have been quite busy. Yeah, that's an understatement...

My sister's wedding was last weekend on 06/14/2009 in Bozeman. I have an embarrassed look because my sis was pinching my butt.

Puppies!!!

Our Schipperke, Radar, fathered six puppies who were born Christmas Day! Talk about a present. I will post pics later, but right now they are in the weird puppy larva stage. Not so cute yet. We will be selling the pups when they are old enough as they are purebred and can be papered. They are about four inches long now, but should end up on the larger end of small dog breeds.

Nine Inch Nails!!!!

I saw one of my favorite bands, Nine Inch Nails, in Missoula. Who would have thought they would come here? Trent Reznor, the lead singer, said at the show there would be two more concerts and they are taking an undetermined amount of time off touring. The show had crazy lighting special effects. We all passed the seizure test. Although, I think I lost some hearing.

I want to see Korn and Dave Matthew's Band next. Road trip to the Gorge!!! :)

Taking a Holiday

Travis and I took a weekend trip to Coeur D'Alene just for fun.

We fished at Lake Pend Orielle, but didn't have any bites.

We watched the sun set and relaxed, but the wind was blowing on an already cold day.

I must admit we spent most of the time fishing under a blanket hiding from the wind.

Afterwards, Travis took me (and my day fishing license I bought after the guy at the marina tried to convince us we wouldn't catch anything) to eat a big plate of sushi at the Bonsai restaurant in Coeur D'Alene.
